Our paddle boarding sessions are growing in popularity, as is the sport itself. If you're looking for a more sedate activity or an activity with lots of splashes and excitement then Stand-up Paddle Boarding is for you.

Option 1 is a 4 - 5 hour trip down the Teifi gorge taking in the stunning scenery in this wild life haven. This trip is a lovely adventure day out, we ask that you bring a pack lunch so we can stop at a suitable place for a recharge and dip in the river. The sup are ideal for over 13yrs as it can be demanding for younger children, we can take younger if they are on the same board as an adult.

Option 2 if you would like a 2.5 - 3 hour session, we offer these at Cardigan where we head up the Teifi marshes checking out the wild life towards the bottom of the Gorge. We play around on the boards during this trip having fun in the sun. This is better suited if you have younger explores with you.

Or we can take you out on the sea when the sea state is fairly calm, this is a great way to get up close and see the sea life and check out the coast line from a new angle. These session will be last minute as we have found to get the right conditions in advance is near imposible to predict.

New for the 2023 season we have Super and Monster paddle boards.

They are multi person versions of the paddle boards. With the ability to host 4 to 12 persons these make it a great craft for family and friends to enjoy. Whether you are looking for a afternoon fun or a place to have a childrens birthday party in Cardigan these are a fantastic way to get into nature. We have found that there are lots of options available for these craft from having a relaxing trip down the river Teifi to having a more static session where they can be used for games.

    Why SUP?

Stand-up Paddle Boarding is an activity which can be enjoyed in many ways, whether it involves surfing, yoga, racing, or even white water. Once you get into it there are many avenues that you can go down. SUP-ing is great for fitness as it uses not just your arms but your legs, back and core too. It's a great activity for all abilities.

As things are evolving within the sport it is becoming more typical to call the sport, just paddle boarding instead of stand up paddle boarding. Its not essential to stand and some of the boards even come with a seat now where a kayak paddle can be used.

    Questions and answers

Can we do the Activity in the rain?

Yes - Stand up paddle boarding can be done in the rain.

What happens the river levels get really high?

If we have a lot of rain and the river levels increase and we feel it would make the session not very good or unsafe we will make an alternative plan, like using the sea or a different craft like a raft. But the location we use for the session can take a lot of water with little difference.

    Can we change our Activities?

Yes, you would just need to let us know in advance, and the more notice you give us the more flexible we can be.

Can I wear contact lenses or glasses?

Yes: people do wear contact lenses and say its ok but I don't where them so just go on others word. Glasses can be worn but its best to have a leash attached. If they fall off or get broken we can not be held responsible. If they are important to your driving think wisely before taking on session.

What group sizes can you accommodate?

Large and small groups can be accommodated please contact us for more information.

Do we need to be able to swim?

No it is unnecessary we provide you with enough floating kit that all you need to do is move your arms to move around.

Do you have equipment to fit all sizes?

Yes - we have a wide range of sizes in all of our equipment. Before you head out on your activities our Instructors will ensure that all equipment fits correctly and they'll make any necessary changes.

What if I have a medical condition?

Our Instructors are trained to deal with different situations, so we can easily accommodate people with diabeties, asthma, mild epilepsy, autism and more. Please contact us if you have any questions. If you require a waterproof container to bring medication please let us know in advance.
